Major Fund Raising Projects
Roses -- March and April. Members sell roses for approximately $15. Roses are then picked up on a designated day at participating Quad City floral shops. This day has been traditionally held on Administrative Assistant's Day. Northside Members usually volunteer to work at Flowers by Jeri to help distribute the flowers.
BIX Street Fest -- Davenport Northside teamed with the Scott County Pork Producers in 1987 to sell Pork Chop sandwiches at Downtown Davenport's annual Street Fest. This project has become the club's largest fund raising project. The event is a two day festival in Downtown Davenport.
Peanuts -- Kiwanis Peanuts are sold every year during a weekend in September at Fareway in north Davenport.
Pancake Breakfast -- Northside teams with Faith United Church of Christ to hold a pancake breakfast around the last weekend in January. The breakfast is held between 7a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in the church Fellowship Hall at 1630 W 38th Street in Davenport.
